Onward Search is partnering with a global entertainment company to find a Senior Manager – Entertainment Brand Marketing for their Advertising Sales Department. This 9-month, hybrid role (onsite M-Th, remote Fridays) in New York, NY involves developing and activating advertiser solutions for daytime and syndication programming. Responsibilities include collaborating with producers on sponsorship pitches across various platforms, facilitating deal negotiations, managing deal activation (timeline management, approvals, production), leading kickoff calls and creative approvals, overseeing on-set shoots, maintaining project documentation (budget, billing, deal recaps), and collaborating with other brand solutions teams. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in entertainment marketing, sponsorship, or branded entertainment, proven experience managing and mentoring employees, and extensive experience leading on-set shoots.

In this dynamic role, you’ll contribute to the strategy and activation of advertiser solutions, focusing on Daytime and Syndication Programming, and play a key part in a variety of creative and impactful campaigns.

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid: Onsite M-TH, Remote Fridays)
9-Month Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a marketing professional with a deep understanding of entertainment, sponsorships, and branded content. As the Senior Manager, you’ll collaborate with multiple teams, manage high-profile projects, and work with major entertainment brands to drive innovative marketing solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Programming Producers to develop customized sponsorship pitch materials across all platforms, including linear, digital, social, and streaming.
  • Facilitate deal negotiations with clients, studios, producers, internal teams, and public relations teams to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines.
  • Manage the activation process for successful deals, from timeline management and approvals to production shoots and post-production.
  • Lead kickoff calls, creative approval processes, and shoot preparation to ensure seamless execution.
  • Oversee on-set shoots, including script outlines, client hosting, and problem-solving on-site challenges.
  • Maintain project documentation such as budget management, billing, deal recaps, and research materials to keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Collaborate with Entertainment Brand Solutions Specials and Sports Brand Solutions teams on sales strategy, partnership packaging, and positioning to maximize brand impact.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Entertainment Marketing, Sponsorship, Promotion, Branded Entertainment, or Media, ideally within a network, cable company, promotional/media agency, or entertainment studio.
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring one or more employees.
  • Extensive experience leading on-set shoots and managing production teams.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior-level executives and contribute to strategic discussions.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Docs/Sheets. Knowledge of Canva or Photoshop is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week, and the assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
