Infoblox is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to join its team in Germany. The role will focus on maintaining and expanding Infoblox's presence within the public sector, particularly with federal and state authorities. Responsibilities include designing and executing a strategic territory plan, developing and implementing demand generation strategies, managing and growing relationships with key government accounts, aligning government customer needs with Infoblox solutions, leveraging internal resources, building relationships with government stakeholders, representing Infoblox at industry events, providing accurate forecasting, collaborating with partners, and ensuring the successful delivery of Infoblox solutions within government agencies.
Must have:
  • 7+ years of technology sales experience
  • Proven track record in public sector contract management and expansion
  • Deep understanding of German federal and state authority challenges and regulations
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills
  • Expertise in complex government procurement processes
  • Experience with sales methodologies like MEDDPICC
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement frameworks
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Enthusiasm for partnering with government clients
  • Solid prospecting skills

We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to join our team in Germany, reporting to the manager, Regional Sales for Northern Germany. In this role, you will maintaining and expanding Infoblox’s presence within the public sector, focusing on federal and state authorities. You will manage and grow existing government contracts, identify opportunities for expansion, and secure new agreements within this critical sector. What you’ll do:
  • Design and execute a strategic territory plan targeting federal and state authorities in Germany, focusing on maintaining and expanding existing contracts as well as winning new logos
  • Develop and implement demand generation strategies, working closely with Marketing and Business Development teams to identify new opportunities within the public sector
  • Manage and grow relationships with key government accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for contract renewals and expansions
  • Align government customer needs with Infoblox solutions, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products and services
  • Leverage internal resources, including solutions architects, sales specialists, and marketing managers, to meet the specific needs of public sector clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders and external champions, driving conversations that address the unique requirements of federal and state authorities
  • Represent Infoblox at government and industry events, showcasing our solutions and building awareness within the public sector
  • Provide accurate forecasting and visibility into territory performance, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Collaborate with partners to ensure the successful delivery of Infoblox solutions within government agencies, leveraging partnerships for greater scale and impact
What you'll bring:
  • 7+ years of successful technology sales experience, with a proven track record of managing and expanding contracts within the public sector
  • Deep understanding of the unique challenges and regulatory requirements of federal and state authorities in Germany, particularly in the areas of networking, security, and cloud enablement
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to earn trust and build credibility with government customers and partners
  • Expertise in navigating complex government procurement processes and sales cycles, with a proven ability to close business and drive growth
  • Experience with formal sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC and a strong understanding of public sector procurement frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts and business solutions to government stakeholders
  • Enthusiasm for partnering with government clients to ensure ongoing success and contract renewals, working closely with the Renewals team
  • Solid prospecting skills, with the ability to build a quality pipeline and maintain the necessary activity levels to meet or exceed sales goals

  • Have established strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and government partners
  • Be confident in delivering presentations and webinars tailored to the needs of federal and state authorities, effectively communicating our value proposition
  • Participate in regular meetings with government customers, generated through individual prospecting, partner networking, and pipeline development
After about a year, you will...
  • Have built a robust pipeline that aligns with your sales targets, consistently delivering results against quota
  • Maintain and expand a network of government champions within your territory and target accounts
