Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Localize, scale and deploy fit for purpose solutions based on our clients’ needs.
  • Execute a multi-year strategy for the regional Issuing VAS business across key products in Digital and Network VAS, Loyalty and new processing partnerships (but not limited to), considering nuances relevant to the region. 
  • Closely partner with Global Issuing Product leaders to deliver on-time, on-budget Issuing VAS Products in the region.
  • Support and deliver regional product roadmaps that extend Visa’s relevance beyond our core network assets.
  • Align regional priorities with Objectives and Key Results for Visa’s Global Issuing Solutions business.
  • Deliver best in class Products and services that exceed client expectations.
  • Drive continuous innovation and outsized revenue growth through disciplined iteration of both short-term revenue opportunities and longer term “big bets.”
  • Partner with regional Sales, Solution and CS leaders to build, execute, and monitor go-to-market motions so Solutions are easy to sell and easy to buy. 
  • Develop a Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, which may include new products, bundles, or campaigns, pricing based on local market needs.
  • Architect client-centric joint solutions including build, implementation, and post-launch optimization:
  • Support selling teams in understanding clients’ business and technical needs and defining solutions to meet them.
  • Work with clients through implementation and post-launch optimization.

Build and manage a team of Issuing Solutions specialists within the region, to build and sell next generation Issuing Solutions

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 15 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 12 years of work experience with an advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/) or a minimum of 10 years of work experience
• A proven track record of B2B product/solutions development
• Comfort working within matrixed, ambiguous environments and deep understanding of the Issuing dynamic within the broader payment’s ecosystem.
• Experience working in Agile framework and comfortable working in matrixed organization.
• Experience in process or core banking best practices and passion to implement these across the team.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, grow, retain, and lead high-caliber technical talent.
• Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills with the ability to work in a global environment and drive consensus in cross-functional teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, able to forecast business trends and translate into agile technology acceptance solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in developing or launching new solutions as well as managing engagement, UX and UI transformation, with a high sense of customer experience and customer focus.
• Experience leading difficult deal negotiations and managing third-party vendors, maximizing value to the organization.
• Ability to structure and manage complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize deliverables and projects to meet OKRs and timelines efficiently, utilize agile methodology by quickly delivering value, adapt to changes in priorities, and structure and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, ability to develop presentations with strong data insights.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility as a peer with functional and regional leaders within Visa.
• Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic and flexible. Experience managing a diverse team with positive records.
• Proactive and effective communicator. Experienced at presenting information to all levels, with ability to facilitate group discussions and debate and proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across geographic and functional lines.
