Job Description

AVER is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support the development of analytic solutions for a multifaceted US Government program. This role will be responsible for creating automated scripts as well as developing scripts and reports by performing repeatable complex queries in multiple databases. Responsibilities Include: Build reports with MS Excel, Access, Power BI, and SQL using complex equations Synthesize large data sets into visually appealing reports, charts, and graphs Gather, aggregate, cleanse, and analyze business data from primary and secondary sources and maintaining databases Evaluate existing and develop new performance metrics to allow the customer to monitor performance across the enterprise Construct and perform complex database queries across multiple databases and developing analytics solutions that are repeatable and effective

Must have:

Proficient with Power BI, MS Excel, and Access
Proficient with database systems and tools
Critical thinking and data analytic tools experience
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Excellent verbal and written skills

Good to have:

Experience supporting Federal agencies
Demonstrated proficiency with Oracle OBIEE

AVER is a fast-growing SDVOSB that has achieved significant revenue growth over the past 5 plus years with much of our work focused on Data Analytics, Mission Support, IT Modernization and Biometrics. AVER is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support the development of analytic solutions for a multifaceted US Government program. This role will be responsible for creating automated scripts as well as developing scripts and reports by performing repeatable complex queries in multiple databases. Responsibilities Include:

Build reports with MS Excel, Access, Power BI, and SQL using complex equations
Synthesize large data sets into visually appealing reports, charts, and graphs
Gather, aggregate, cleanse, and analyze business data from primary and secondary sources and maintaining databases
Evaluate existing and develop new performance metrics to allow the customer to monitor performance across the enterprise
Construct and perform complex database queries across multiple databases and developing analytics solutions that are repeatable and effective

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree

Experience Requirements:

8+ years of experience
Proficient with Power BI, MS Excel, and Access (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Charts & Graphs)
Proficient with database systems and tools (Oracle, SQL Server, XML and SQL scripting)
Critical thinking and ability to use data analytic tools and experience synthesizing substantial amounts of data to answer questions
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written skills

Desired Requirements:

Experience supporting Federal agencies with the tasks listed above
Demonstrated proficiency with Oracle OBIEE and ability to run pre-written XML scripts for daily reports

Location:

REMOTE (Local to Washington DC or surrounding area)

Security Requirements:

Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance (Public Trust)
This role supports a government agency which requires U.S. citizenship
