X-FLOW, a mobile game development company, seeks a Senior Balance Game Designer with at least 2 years of experience in mid-core mobile games. You'll be responsible for game balance, economics, and playtesting. Strong experience with MOBA, 4X strategy, and MMO RPG genres is essential.

We are seeking a Senior Balance Game Designer to help us create unique and engaging games for players worldwide. Are you eager to work on captivating mobile games and apply your expertise to large and complex projects?

Do you enjoy calculating and fine-tuning complex game balance systems? If you have a passion for numbers, spreadsheets, and probability theory, we are looking for you! If you aspire to grow with a promising project and develop games that will win the hearts of millions, we want you in our team!


Responsibilities:

  • Development and calculation of project economics in the metagame;
  • Formulation of balance for all game entities;
  • Creation of tools for quick calculation and iteration of game entities;
  • Conducting playtests based on the calculation results.


What is essential:

  • Relevant work experience in the Balance Game Designer role for al least 2 years;
  • Work experience in mid-core mobile games;
  • High level of gameplay experience in genres such as MOBA, 4X strategy, and MMO RPG;
  • Experience working on isometric games;
  • High level of autonomy and proactivity, ability to work independently without micromanagement;
  • Ability to create game design documentation;
  • Experience with game configurations and/or admin panels;
  • Proficiency in articulating thoughts clearly in both spoken and written form;
  • Ability to work with Google Sheets and Miro.


Nice to have:

  • Examples of tables with game balance calculations;
  • Examples of game design documents;
  • Ability to describe the most complex mechanic for which balance calculations were performed and to explain the specific challenges involved.
