About This Role
CAE Parc Aviation are presently accepting applications for a Senior Aircraft Records Specialists for our Aircraft Records Central Services team in our offices in Malaysia.
The Records Central Services team provides specialized aircraft technical records services to Lessors and Airlines, facilitating a streamlined transition of aviation assets (Airframe and/or Engines) from one lease to another. On complex projects, beside the core transition service and technical records analysis, CAMO, Design and Borescope services are packaged within the transition project of which the applicant will be a key team member.
Key requirements of the role:
Work on aircraft transition projects as part of a project team, working to project schedules and work plans communicated by the team leader.
Lead tasks within projects up to taking the lead on full MSN transitions.
Perform technical records reviews independently, comprising among others: Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Supplementary Type Certificate mods, Minor modifications, Landing Gear LLPs, Engines (SB’s, AD’s & LLPs), Structural Damages, maintenance status summaries, Outstanding Item List (OIL) closure
Identify key areas of concern in terms of lease contract compliance
Independently manage closure of open items identified during the review
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
Manage digital technical records on the CAE cloud storage solution
Contribute to evolving internal procedures.
Teach and mentor team members
Communicate with clients, project team members and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum of Minimum of 5 years work experience in aircraft technical records, preferably experience with aircraft lease transitions and records reviews
Degree in technical field or Licensed Aircraft Engineer or an equivalent experience obtained on the job supported by recognised courses.
Competent with IT applications (MS Office, Cloud storage, Airbus World, MyBoeing Fleet)
Good communicator (verbal and written) across organizations and with customers.
Performance driven, Flexible and adaptable.
Pro-active approach to achieving customer satisfaction and driving change.
Willingness to travel occasionally onsite or to meet customers.
