About the Role & Program:
Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures is seeking an Intern to work within Domestic Distribution and assist in Ad-Hoc projects related to Audit and Sales Planning. The position will be primarily focused on ad-hoc data analysis, general project planning and process improvements among others. Day to day duties include participating in weekly and bi-weekly meetings with leadership, reviewing current/existing processes for potential improvements and assisting in the collection and analysis of data.
This internship is a full-time commitment in the Burbank, CA area from May/June - August/September 2025.
What You Will Do:
Assist with process improvement initiatives, conducting research, documenting workflows, and suggesting enhancements to current processes.
Assist with the creating and developing reports to present to leadership.
Help streamline internal processes and data collection and aggregation methodologies.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience with financial forecasting and planning
Experience with multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Experience SQL, Python or Data Visualization (i.e. Tableau) and Business Intelligence Tools a strong plus
Thrives in fast-paced environments, works well and stays organized under pressure, and strong ability to balance multiple projects at once, pivoting and prioritizing as needed Previous experience working in the entertainment industry
Education:
Undergraduate students in their senior year pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, analytical, communications, or related field.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information:
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
