What you’ll do:

Quality Assurance

  • You understand how to prioritize requirements based on business value, risk, and criticality to guide development efforts efficiently.
  • You are able to identify ambiguous, inconsistent, or contradictory requirements that could lead to potential problems during development
  • Your capabilities extend to designing and leading testing strategies, providing valuable insights into quality improvement initiatives.
  • You're skilled at breaking down complex issues and guide developers in solving them. You work closely with developers to fix issues, set up bug policies and make sure the bug backlog is healthy and prioritized.
  • Your expertise spans one or more quality attributes, enabling you to lead teams in defining and measuring these attributes to drive overall product quality.

Quality Engineering

  • You possess the capability to design and implement an overarching quality strategy or quality management system for one or multiple teams/projects, aligning with the vision of ITP.
  • You play a key role in influencing the team's way of working, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing changes to enhance the team's overall quality practices.
  • You provide the necessary tools, processes, and automation solutions to the team, enabling them to execute the quality strategy effectively and maintain high standards.
  • Your ability to provide quality metrics and dashboards allows for effective monitoring and reporting on quality-related insights, ensuring transparency and visibility for relevant stakeholders.
  • You design and implement efficient release management processes, incorporating quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • With an advanced understanding of monitoring, logging, and diagnostics tools, you track system performance and address potential issues proactively.

  • You also demonstrate experience in incident management, effectively resolving and documenting complex incidents, minimizing their impact on the system or product.

Stakeholder collaboration

  • You develop a profound insight into the needs, characters, preferences and context of client stakeholders. You can strategically balance the competing interests of various stakeholders.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. This allows you to craft compelling narratives, justify important decisions, present ITP’s perspective ... and get to change persuasively without becoming defensive or combative.
  • You can effectively navigate larger groups or more challenging contexts (e.g. significant differences in viewpoints, high-pressure circumstances, conflict resolutions). You master a variety of facilitation and communication techniques that you can apply depending on the context.
  • You build strong relationships with client stakeholders. These relationships promote an enhanced collaboration and improve receptiveness to new ideas and innovative approaches.
  • When ITP’s way of working and the client’s differ, you can lead both team and client to a shared way of working that benefits both parties.

Software Engineering

  • Knowing the concepts of unit, integration and system testing
  • Convincing and facilitating your teams in setting up automated testing when needed

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
