The Product Marketing Manager for PlayerZero will lead the launch of new features, functionalities, and digital collectibles. Responsibilities include crafting compelling messaging, driving go-to-market strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, engineering, partnerships), gathering user insights, and analyzing performance. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in product marketing, particularly with consumer-facing technical products in Web3, gaming, or digital platforms. A strong understanding of blockchain, digital collectibles, and Web3 is crucial. This role requires proven success in launching and scaling technical products, strong messaging skills, and experience leading go-to-market strategies.

Built by Ready Player Me, PlayerZero is an avatar collectible platform that lets users create, customize, and evolve their digital identities across games, social media, and collectibles marketplaces. About you: 

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Product Marketing Manager to lead the successful launch of PlayerZero's features, functionalities, and digital collectibles. You excel at aligning cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless collaboration between product, marketing, development, engineering, and partnerships. Your role will be critical in crafting and executing strategies that showcase PlayerZero's value as the ultimate platform for interoperable digital identities and virtual worlds. With a keen eye for market trends and user insights, you will ensure every launch resonates with both current and prospective users.

Your daily adventures will include:

  • Messaging & Positioning.
    • Craft clear, compelling messaging that highlights PlayerZero’s unique value across features, digital collectibles, and updates.
    • Translate technical features into narratives that resonate with Web3 collectors.
    • Ensure all messaging aligns with the brand’s tone and emphasizes key differentiators.
  • Launch Management.
    • Drive go-to-market strategies for features, digital collectibles, and updates, ensuring smooth and timely launches.
    • Create and maintain launch playbooks to coordinate teams and deliverables.
    • Track and report success metrics to refine future launches.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration.
    • Act as the bridge between product, marketing, engineering, and partnerships, ensuring alignment on goals and timelines.
    • Brief teams on upcoming releases and align all efforts under a unified brand narrative.
    • Coordinate cross-functional meetings to keep everyone informed and on track.
  • Consumer Insights & Research.
    • Gather and analyze user feedback, market research, and industry trends to shape messaging and influence the product roadmap.
    • Stay ahead of trends in Web3, gaming, and digital identity to keep PlayerZero innovative.
  • Performance Reporting & Optimization.
    • Analyze launch and campaign performance to track adoption, engagement, and user feedback.
    • Use insights to refine strategies and improve future results.


What you bring:

  • Experience: 5–7 years in product marketing, focused on consumer-facing technical products in Web3, gaming, or digital platforms.
  • Proven Success: Demonstrated ability to launch and scale technical products with measurable results.
  • Messaging Expertise: Skilled at creating messaging frameworks that simplify complex concepts into engaging narratives.
  • GTM Ownership: Hands-on experience leading go-to-market strategies for product features, delivering on-time, impactful launches.
  • Web3 Knowledge: Strong understanding of blockchain, digital collectibles, Web3, and their applications in gaming and digital identity.
  • Proactive Problem Solver: A hands-on, solutions-oriented approach with a passion for driving user engagement and adoption.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience partnering with teams across product, engineering, marketing, and community to ensure alignment.
  • Startup Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced environments, managing multiple initiatives and competing priorities with ease.
