Summary

As a Product Manager at Publicis Sapient, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leading the vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital products. You'll collaborate on Digital Business Transformation (DBT) engagements, understanding client and end-customer needs. Responsibilities include partnering with clients and internal teams to define business goals, develop product strategies, conduct market research, and translate vision into prioritized features. You'll utilize design thinking, create customer journey maps, and validate learning through user testing. Experience with Open Link Endur V16 and higher, crude & refined products, energy trading, and risk management is crucial. A strong understanding of commodity trading processes and derivatives is essential.

Job Description

As a Product Manager at Publicis Sapient, you act as your client’s trusted advisor in leading the overall vision, strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for a specific digital product or products within an engagement. You will collaborate with clients undertaking major Digital Business Transformation (DBT) engagements to understand their business and end-customer needs and then constantly deliver value with fast increment cycles.  

Your Impact:

  • Partner with client(s), strategists, experience leads, and architects to frame business goals and value pools from which we can shape product propositions that provide transformative business outcomes and customer experience
  • Develop product vision, strategy, and market/user research by keeping the customer at the center of everything we do while using design thinking tools 
  • Represent clients in ideation workshops with cross-functional leaders where you identify new ideas, customer needs, pain points, and solution options
  • Develop solution hypotheses iteratively, based on user research and industry and market trend analysis
  • Establish customer journey mapping to guide product development; then validate that learning with user testing
  • Translate product vision into a roadmap containing well-defined, prioritized features that will realize the product vision and value.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Working experience with Open Link Endur V16 & Higher
  • Understanding of different Market Managers in Endur
  • Good understanding of Crude & Refined products business
  • Energy trading and risk management with emphasis on Oil Trading & Scheduling
  • In-depth knowledge of various derivatives instruments (Futures/swaps/options etc.) covering US and European markets
  • Pipeline & cargo business
  • Strong understanding of Commodity trading and Risk Management business processes is a big differentiator (Deal / Trade capture, financial derivatives and hedging, Position Management, Priced Inventory management, Risk Reporting, Commercial Margin / Value Creation Measurement, Exposure reporting, Scheduling, Settlement, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with Deal Modelling, C-motion, reference data, risk valuation, invoicing, settlements, and reporting within Endur
  • PnL & Exposure reports & Simulations
  • Endur JVS, Open Components (good to have)
  • Fluent English (written/spoken) given the global nature of the team and customer base.

Good to Have:

  • Able to understand business needs and convert them to functional requirements, solution design, and test
  • Work with Traders/Operations/Market Risk group for new business/product setup & modeling
  • Work with the offshore technical team and provide the required guidance
  • Able to manage multiple tasks at hand and prioritize them per need
  • Provide training when needed to business & prepare process guides
