Job Description

As a Product Manager at Google, you'll guide products from conception to launch, connecting technical and business worlds. You'll break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. You'll work cross-functionally with engineers, designers, marketers, etc., designing and developing technologies that improve access to the world's information. This role focuses on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring BigQuery Governance, Security and Sharing solutions to users. You'll operate with customer empathy, set ideas, gather requirements, identify risks, and work with stakeholders to deliver data integration products. You'll also design and lead a multi-year roadmap, align key stakeholders, write PRDs, build enablement content for new features, and deliver to customers. You'll understand how technical users and customers derive value from BigQuery Governance, Security and Sharing, establishing domain knowledge inside and outside Google on customer use cases and requirements.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role
  • 3 years of experience developing or launching infrastructure products
  • Experience creating strategic product roadmaps
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience driving product ideas, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
Good to have:
  • Experience developing/launching products/technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or supply chain networks

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience creating strategic product roadmaps, working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience developing/launching products/technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or supply chain networks.
  • Experience driving product ideas, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
