Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience creating strategic product roadmaps, working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience developing/launching products/technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or supply chain networks.
  • Experience driving product ideas, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Operate with customer empathy.
  • Set the ideas, gather requirements, identify risks, and work with stakeholders to deliver data integration products to customers.
  • Design and lead a multi-year road map and align key stakeholders on the direction of the product.
  • Write PRD's (product requirement documents), build enablement content for new features, and deliver to customers.
  • Understand how technical users and customers derive value from BigQuery Governance, Security and Sharing, establishing domain knowledge inside and outside Google on customer use cases and requirements.
