Our client in the San Fran, CA area is hiring for a full time Photo Operations Manager to manage a team of field photographers.
You must live in the area already; they are not open to relocation candidates.
Salary range: $130,000 - $149,000. There is also annual bonus potential of around 10%.
- You'll lead a dynamic team of up to 10 full time photographers for certain brands. This role blends leadership, technical proficiency, and exceptional customer service. You will be ensuring appointment deadlines and quality standards are met, and you'll collaborate closely with clients, sales, logistics, and the broader photography department. This in-office role within the respective market demands a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and effective communication abilities to manage remote teams.
Field Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee a team of up to 10 full time photographers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure consistent high-quality performance and adherence to company standards.
- Implement efficient workflows to optimize output while upholding quality product and service delivery, conducting regular quality audits to maintain accuracy and brand standards.
- Maintain excellent customer satisfaction by promptly addressing client inquiries or concerns, and review performance metrics regularly to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide ongoing coaching on newly acquired technology, scanning techniques, photography, and company procedures to enhance team skills and performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical equipment and software issues, troubleshooting problems, and coordinating with IT support for prompt resolution.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to coordinate appointments, address client needs, and ensure seamless service delivery, with some regional and occasional travel to the HQ office required.
Field Operations Manager Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Must have 5+ years of people management experience with 6+ employees. *Make sure your resume is specific with this.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage remote teams effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting KPIs and performance metrics.
- Flexibility to travel for fieldwork and availability to work evenings or weekends as needed.
- Valid driver’s license required.
