Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Infrastructure Services & Operations to join Ashland at our Hyderabad India location. This is a very visible, significant role within Ashland and the Information Technology function. This position will report to the Vice President and CIO of Ashland.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for providing a highly reliable 7x24 operations of data center services and networking
  • Infrastructure lifecycle planning for global networking, telephony, data center and cloud hosting
  • Successful implementation of infrastructure upgrades at Ashland locations and hosted data centers
  • Implement and maintain cyber security standards applicable to networking and hosting
  • Design and execution of key ITSM services including: Major Incident Management, Service Quality, Problem Management and Asset Management
  • Defining SLA’s and holding internal / external partners accountable for meeting the SLA’s. Operating a communications process around SLA performance, plans and continuous improvement.
  • Leadership of IT Infrastructure team with members from Ashland, our primary MSP and other key partners
  • Member of the Ashland Information Technology Leadership Team
  • Budget planning and management for Infrastructure services
  • Employee development including performance, career planning & technical training plans

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years in Information Technology supporting networking, hosting and ITSM services
  • 5+ years experience working with a global MSP in management as a customer or employee
  • 5+ years experience managing a global team remotely
  • 2+ years working with cloud hosting services
  • Direct experience leading multiple infrastructure services as a leadership team member
  • Direct and indirect leadership experience

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:

  • Hosting and networking cyber security certification
  • Experience managing SAP landscapes (currently AIX based)
  • SD WAN and cloud networking Linux experience
