Create monitoring checks for the applications using monitoring tools like ICINGA, AppDynamics and New Relic & other tools

Relevant experience in the operation of IT services, ideally in the monitoring of IT services - applications and web servers.

APM (Application Performance Management), Log Monitoring, Dashboards, and MTTI are more than just terms for you, ideally you know the tools like Icinga, AppDynamics and New Relic or similar

Create monitoring checks for the applications using monitoring tools (like Icinga, AppDynamics and New Relic)

Develop and modify custom monitoring checks using scripts (shell, powershell, Python, NodeJS/Javascript)

Manage the monitoring tool installation on the servers and regular housekeeping, patching, monitoring, and trouble shooting.

Add and configure roles, users and groups for the monitoring tools.

Provide On-call support for critical incidents.

Create & maintain documentation of the environment, monitoring policies and procedures.

Technical escalation support, collaboration with onsite/offshore team and customer coordinators, Stakeholders Management, Technical documentation, and Training delivery.

Quality delivery of services committed to the customer as per the defined Service Levels and KPI’s

Demonstrated ability to handle deliverables meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities

Define and implement monitoring best practices

Ensure Customer Satisfaction in the services delivered

Identify areas of process and efficiency improvement within monitoring ; recommend prioritized enhancements and close implementation

Ensure the required reports (MSR)  are accurate and delivered on time

Linux / Windows server administration

Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes )

Application Monitoring by Configuring Infra Monitoring Tools (ICINGA, AppDynamics, NewRelic, DataDog, Splunk & ELK)

Applications Deployments

Basic Oracle Database Administration (SQL Server / MySQL / Mongo DB )

Infrastructure automation and DevOps pipeline tools (GIT, Jenkins, Ansible, terraform)

Network infrastructure, Firewall, Load balancing setup, and Security implementation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledgeable in ITIL Service Management Framework (Incident, Change, Problem management)
