PTW is looking for a talented and motivated Mid-Level Tech Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with a keen artistic eye. You will work closely with artists, designers, and engineers to develop and implement technical solutions that enhance the visual quality and performance of our projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize shaders, materials, and visual effects to achieve the desired artistic vision.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and best practices for the art team.
  • Assist in the creation and integration of 3D assets, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards.
  • Design and maintain efficient art pipelines and workflows.
  • Develop custom tools and scripts to streamline the production process and improve team productivity.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate new technologies and tools into the production pipeline.
  • Work closely with artists and designers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the art team, helping them overcome technical challenges.
  • Liaise between the art and engineering teams to ensure smooth communication and project development.
  • Conduct regular reviews of art assets and provide feedback to ensure they meet technical and artistic standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the team’s capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in game Design is a must.
  • Strong portifolio in technical art.
  • Proven experience with Unity game engine.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#) and shader development.
  • Excellent understanding of 3D art principles, including modeling, texturing, and animation.
  • Experience with performance optimization techniques for real-time applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with AR/VR development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
