We have an opportunity for a Manager, Internal Communications to bring their passion, collaboration and dedication to our team! Reporting to the VP Internal Communications, this is an excellent opportunity to partner with internal leaders and teams to deliver on our strategy. We are looking for someone who is an exceptional writer, with strong judgment and problem-solving skills, ready to deliver creative, thoughtful communication solutions that support our Toy, Game, Licensing, Entertainment and Commercial Business Lines.

 

This is a hybrid role and can be based in our office in either Pawtucket, Rhode Island, New York, NY or Burbank, California.

 

A Day in the life as a Manager, Internal Communications:

  • Create best-in-class communications campaigns to advance the strategic initiatives of our leadership team including town hall agendas, scripts, change efforts, and more.
  • Serve as advisor to senior leadership on messaging, cascade, timeline and opportunities.
  • Partner with our PR team to capitalize on brand activations and celebrations, treating our employees as fans first.
  • Develop and drive the internal brand for our executive leadership team including informal and formal channels.
  • Own and define a communications calendar to plan and align critical messages as well as track the audience, method, and rollout approach for key campaigns.
  • Partner with our events team to coordinate on the development and production of town halls, brand activations, and employee engagement celebrations.
  • Keep us on track: find opportunities for streamlined processes and/or new tools and systems to increase team productivity.
  • Be bold and contribute ideas! Stay up to date on the latest tonal, aesthetic and technology trends and best practices and explore opportunities for innovation and creative storytelling across key corporate channels.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful internal communication strategies and plans especially at a company that experienced great growth, change, or transformation.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in internal communications preferably at a global company.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Comfortable working alongside senior executives and providing in-the-moment counsel related to your area of expertise.
  • Capable of achieving results in a fast-paced environment, often on short timelines.
  • Highly pro-active, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail with outstanding project management skills.
  • Sense of humor and positivity.

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $76,900
  • Pay Range End: $142,700
