Summary

We're looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join highly collaborative, multi-functional, agile product development team responsible for building the strategic Application Hosting Platform thats distribute and host full stack applications across our technology base, empowers organizations to deliver software faster and more efficiently

Page Express is a self-service Content Management System, a very easy to use but powerful platform that enables non IT personnel to quickly create content based applications for customers. The platform provides access to a wide range of back-end data sources, plus visualisation and navigation components, enabling the application creators to select the content items needed, structure how the content is to be laid out in the application page and also define the navigation options, interoperability between applications generated in Page Express and other applications is supported.

In this role, you'll be joining our Framework Team within Desktop Platform, Data, Analytics Division as a Front End Development Lead, responsible for developing components of Page Express platform to support our users to create their Workspace Apps using Page Express and integrated Workspace services and redering to Workspace users. We are looking for a person that wants to contribute to a robust team of developers, and continuously deepen skills

Tech Profile/Required Skills

  • Strong experience as Front-end developer with knowledge in front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript.
  • Strong development experience and knowledge in React, Angular.
  • 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience in the industry (hands on prod experience).
  • Able to contribute independently and effectively & act as a dev lead and team player towards delivery of high-profile projects.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences.

Additional Skills And Experience

  • Some knowledge of, or willingness to learn, other JS frameworks and libraries such as Vue.js.
  • Unit and Integration testing (including mocking).
  • Proficient with version-control solutions such as Git.
  • Familiarity and experience in using continuous integration tools (Gitlab, Jenkins).
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of Financial markets.

Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

As a Lead Software Engineer role, you will be a member of the Page Express team to support the delivery of hybrid cloud solution on clouds and on-premises infrastructure, leading various number of projects and collaborate with hardworking Product Managers, Architects, Software Engineers and Reliability Engineers across the globe.

  • Leading a team of skilled, cross-functional software engineers.
  • Contribute to design, development and maintenance of new and existing products & features
  • Coordinate and contribute hands-on to the technical work assigned to the team.
  • Work as part of Scrum team, contribute to Agile SDLC processes to ensure we meet our business requirements.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, BAs to address clients’ feedback.
  • Operate collaboratively with scrum master, other development and QA staff, supported by Development Managers provide robust planning and execution against the assigned deliverables.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for the team.
  • Ensure development standard processes are followed and help to improve them.
  • Contributing towards resolving issue and addressing customer feedback.
  • Keeping the technical document and the project artefacts up to date.
