Position Overview: Contract-to-Hire (3 Months)
The Lead Creative Strategist at VX Media is a pivotal role that combines creative vision, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to drive innovative projects that align with the company's goals. This role requires a blend of creativity, industry knowledge, and the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team of creative professionals. The Lead Creative Strategist will oversee the conceptualization, planning, and execution of creative projects, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
We are looking for a talented individual to join our team initially on a 3-month contract basis, with the potential for full-time employment based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications
- Experience: 5 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 3 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree.
- Creative Vision: Possess a strong creative vision and the ability to conceptualize innovative ideas that align with the goals of VX Media.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership capabilities with at least 1 year of experience to manage and inspire a diverse team of creative professionals.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically, understanding the audience, market trends, and the competitive landscape to inform creative decisions.
- Graphic Design Proficiency: Familiarity with graphic design principles and tools to visualize concepts and ideas with at least 5 years of experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and 2 years of experience with Canva.
- Storyboarding and Shot Listing: Expertise in storyboarding and shot listing to plan and visualize scenes, ensuring a cohesive and engaging narrative flow.
- Media Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the media industry, including trends, platforms, and emerging technologies.
- Content Production Understanding: Comprehensive knowledge of content production processes, and strong ability to ensure the actualization of creative can stay within financial constraints while maintaining high creative quality.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey ideas, proposals, and strategies to team members and clients.
- Collaboration: Proven track record of collaborating with diverse teams, including directors, producers, graphics designers, editors and public relation specialists, and clients, to bring creative visions to life.
- Adaptability: Willingness to adapt strategies to changing circumstances and to embrace new tools and technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and Develop Creative Ideas: Utilize strong creative vision to conceptualize innovative ideas that align with the goals of VX Media. Develop and present creative proposals to stakeholders and clients.
- Lead and Manage Creative Team: Manage and lead a diverse team of creative professionals, ensuring timely execution of tasks with high quality and a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Strategic Creative Planning: Analyze audience insights, market trends, and the competitive landscape to inform creative strategies. Develop strategic plans that align with business objectives and drive engagement.
- Graphic Design and Visual Content Creation: Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Canva to create visually appealing designs. Oversee the creation of graphic design elements to support the work of the production department and the PR department.
- Storyboarding and Shot Listing: Create detailed storyboards and shot lists to plan and visualize scenes. Ensure a cohesive and engaging narrative flow throughout the content production process.
- Media Industry Insight and Trend Analysis: Stay updated on media industry trends, platforms, and emerging technologies. Incorporate industry insights into creative projects to maintain relevance and innovation.
- Collaborative Project Execution: Work closely with directors, producers, graphic designers, editors, public relation specialists, and clients to bring creative visions to life. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages input and ideas from all team members.
- Content Production Oversight: Involve in content production processes, ensuring projects stay coherent to the client-approved concepts and maintain high creative quality. Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects.
- Effective Communication: Communicate ideas, proposals, and strategies clearly and effectively to team members and clients. Facilitate meetings and presentations to align stakeholders on project goals and progress.
- Adaptability and Innovation: Adapt creative strategies to changing circumstances and embrace new tools and technologies. Continuously seek opportunities for innovation and improvement in creative processes within the team.
- Budget Oversight: Ensure creative projects are conceptualized and can be executed within budget constraints. Make adjustments as necessary to meet financial goals outlined by the producer team.
- Quality Assurance and Review: Conduct thorough reviews of creative work to ensure high-quality standards. Provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance the quality of deliverables.
Salary Range: 80K - 100K Annually
