Position Overview:
We seek a skilled and experienced Lead Copywriter to join our marketing team.  As a Lead Copywriter, you will craft compelling and engaging copy for various marketing channels and campaigns. You will also lead a team of copywriters, ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality-driven, and aligned with our company's messaging, tone and voice, and company goals. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of creating impactful copy, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do as the Lead, Copywriter:

  • Lead and manage a team of copywriters, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship.
  • Conceptualize and develop creative and persuasive copy for marketing campaigns, advertisements, websites, emails, social media, corporate collateral, and other channels.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, Integrated Marketing, Website team, and other teams to understand project requirements, target audience, and objectives.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, grammar, consistency, and brand voice and tone adherence.
  • Understand and follow AP Style Guides for copy consistency and adherence.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in copywriting and digital marketing. Knowledge of the IT technology industry is a bonus.
  • Conduct research and interviews to understand customer needs and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content.
What you will bring to the team:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Copywriter or similar role, with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Experience in leading or managing a team of copywriters.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to various tones, voices, and platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in SEO principles and content optimization.
