INTERN – Software Engineer

Application Deadline: December 1, 2024

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Work within Nintendo’s Consumer Service Channel Experience team to develop an internal software tool that will summarize and display data from Consumer Service surveys

  • Extract and transform relevant data from the Consumer Service database to create views that are meaningful to the business stakeholders

  • Design a Desktop graphical interface that will allow the user to generate reports with set parameters based on the data

  • Implement pre-trained ML models that categorize consumer feedback text data

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3.0+ GPA

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with a graduation conferral date between May 2025 and June 2026

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

  • Proficient in C#

  • Has working knowledge of Python

  • Experience with a Windows GUI framework such as WPF

  • Familiarity with libraries for generating and rendering charts (e.g., Plotly.NET) a plus

  • Experience integrating pre-trained ML models into applications (e.g., ONNX) a plus

  • Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders in a cross-functional team

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Able to work 40 hours a week onsite throughout the course of the 10-week summer internship between June – September

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time. Housing and travel support will be provided for non-local hires.

This internship includes a base pay range of $30 per hour, paid sick and safe time, and perks such as a local transit pass and access to the onsite fitness center. Given the limited duration of the role, interns are not eligible for full-time employee benefits such as healthcare or 401(k).
