Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re excited to partner with a multinational data analytics company to hire a Program Manager for a 4-month contract opportunity. This role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in the Eastern or Central time zones.

As a Program Manager, you will play a key role in managing multi-year, high-budget projects that span multiple organizations, including third-party businesses. You will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives, ensuring effective coordination across teams, and driving project success from start to finish. Responsibilities:

  • Lead large, multi-year projects with significant budgets, impacting key business units.
  • Implement and maintain project management best practices across initiatives.
  • Develop business cases to support critical project components and their acquisition or development.
  • Monitor and analyze project phases, tasks, duration, resources, and costs to ensure successful delivery.
  • Create work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, and resource assignments for management review and approval.
  • Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project coordination.
  • Facilitate meetings to review project status, resolve issues, and ensure timely execution.
  • Define project deliverables, processes for review, and quality criteria for deliverables assessment.
  • Oversee project scope, approving changes and responding to requests for scope modifications.
  • Build time estimates and develop project schedules, addressing challenges as they arise.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute comprehensive project plans and updates.
  • Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks, recommending solutions as needed.
  • Report project progress to upper management, ensuring alignment with timeframes, scope, quality, and budget.
  • Drive process improvements within the business unit to enhance project performance.
  • Collaborate with information security specialists to prioritize and track security vulnerabilities and remediation efforts.
  • Manage the project security assessment to ensure thoroughness and approval before Go-Live.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to leadership, highlighting milestones, risks, and resolutions.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
  • Expertise in Cyber Security, IT, risk, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership abilities with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with information security/technology/infrastructure projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • PMP and Certified Scrum Master certifications preferred.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of the assignment must be at least 10 weeks.
