Summary

Hazelight seeks an experienced HR Generalist to join its Operations team. This role encompasses a wide range of HR responsibilities, with a focus on fostering a positive work environment, strengthening employee relations, promoting diversity and inclusion, and managing compensation programs. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing initiatives for a positive and inclusive workplace, handling employee relations, ensuring compliance, managing compensation and payroll, conducting market research for competitive pay, supporting change management, and facilitating open communication. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, possess strong communication and conflict resolution skills, and understand Swedish employment law and compensation benchmarks.
Must have:
  • 3+ years HR experience
  • Swedish employment law knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English and Swedish

This role will cover a broad range of HR responsibilities, with a particular focus on enhancing our work environment, strengthening employee relations, promoting diversity and inclusion, and managing compensation programs. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement initiatives to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Handle employee relations issues, facilitate open communication, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Own compensation programs and payroll management.
  • Conduct market research to ensure competitive and equitable practices, and provide guidance on compensation-related matters.
  • Support change management processes, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with organizational goals.

What we are looking for:

  • We value a down-to-earth and collaborative ‘prestigelös’ attitude, where no task is too small for anyone on the team.
  • Proactive and willing to engage in various HR areas, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong understanding of Swedish employment law and compensation benchmarks.
  • Fluency in both English and Swedish.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently and efficiently.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR 
  • Previous experience in the gaming industry is a plus.

Hazelight’s first game, A Way Out, was released on March 23, 2018 and published by EA under the Originals label.
