This Global Lifecycle Management role is a key leadership position within HP's Services Supply Chain, focusing on PC service parts across the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Japan. Responsibilities include managing lifecycle events, strategic collaborations, and communication, while balancing cost and customer satisfaction. The role requires independent problem-solving for complex supply chain issues, supporting strategic projects, conducting data analysis, and contributing to key decision-making. Additional responsibilities encompass master data governance, collaboration with cross-functional teams (including engineers and suppliers), and process improvement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance efficiency. The candidate will lead strategic product & part-level decisions and own the readiness of product introductions, sustaining, part roll, and quality/customer satisfaction issues. This position requires strong analytical and leadership skills, influencing stakeholders across multiple regions to ensure timely availability of quality materials and services.

Job Summary
• This role is the key lead representing Services Supply Chain for specific product lines across the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific and Japan. This particular role manages the lifecycle events, strategic collaboration, and communication for PC service parts while balancing cost and customer satisfaction. In addition, it is responsible for independently identifying solutions to common and complex supply chain issues, supporting strategic supply chain projects from planning through execution, and conducting data analysis, interpreting findings, and contributing to decision-making within projects. The role assists in managing strategic supply chain models, creates frameworks to address supply chain problems, and acts as a peer leader on cross-functional teams. The role identifies inefficiencies, and implement process improvements to reduce costs in the supply chain and operations processes.

Responsibilities
Leading strategic product & part level decisions, collaboration, and influence for end to end lifecycle events.

Lead special assignments which are strategic or highly complex in order to ensure timely availability of quality materials and services worldwide to support customer requirements for spare parts throughout the product’s respective lifecycle.

Ultimately responsible for the readiness of product introductions, sustaining, part roll, and quality issues, and customer satisfaction issues

Owns master data governance to ensure quality

Leads strategic discussions with HP Service Engineers, Product Support Managers, Supplier Managers, and Regional PLM to ensure that service and support for products are ready in the Services Supply Chain.

• Independently identifies solutions to common and complex issues within a project, by applying strong understanding of supply chain.
• Supports complex strategic supply chain projects from planning through to execution and provides findings resulting.
• Conducts data analysis and interprets findings to identify major conclusions and formulate summaries for supply chain projects.
• Owns decision-making within supply chain projects and contributes to strategic supply chain solutions.
• Assists in managing strategic supply chain models which translate physical and financial flows into business processes, implementing product and services supply chains into the company's business systems.
• Assists in creating frameworks and strategic approaches to tackle strategic supply chain problems and drive diagnostic rigor in making decisions.
• Acts as a peer leader on a cross-functional project team, and as a resource to other business units for issues on supply chain.
• Leverages the ability to think strategically and creatively and applies sound business judgment and quantitative analytics while supporting senior management in developing supply chain strategies.
• Evaluates and manages relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
• Identifies inefficiencies and bottlenecks in the supply chain and operations processes, and implements process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
