Summary

Wooga seeks a Game Designer - Economy to join their team working on Claire's Chronicles. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining engaging game economies, collaborating with various teams (LiveOps, Game Analysts, Customer Care, etc.) to assess trends and control economic levers, developing models supporting new features and events, and staying current with mobile game market trends. The role requires a data-driven approach, experience with economic dynamics, SQL, spreadsheets, and excellent visualization/presentation skills. Candidates should possess strong time management and collaboration abilities.

We are seeking an Economy Designer to join us for an exciting role on Wooga's new game: Claire's Chronicles

What will you do?

  • Leverage your data-driven mindset to ensure that our players have engaging, long-lasting, and fun experiences.
  • Create economy models that facilitate new features and event creation while staying healthy in the long run.
  • Collaborate closely with LiveOps, Game Analysts, Customer Care, Data Scientists, and Feature development teams to assess trends in the game economy and control its levers (which will be installed and maintained by you).
  • Stay aware of new trends in the mobile game market. Reverse engineer solutions from competitive titles and learn from them.

Who are you?

  • You have relevant Design and LiveOps experience.
  • You have set up and expanded a game economy to support additional feature sets and LiveOps events.
  • You treat economic dynamics as a natural part of the user experience.
  • You are able to assess and understand these dynamics and use this knowledge to improve various metrics and KPIs.
  • You have experience working with data, ideally with a background in SQL.
  • You are able to use spreadsheets in very versatile ways (e.g., as balancing tools, monitoring tools, LiveOps tools, and more).
  • You can visualize and present ideas in a clear and comprehensive way.
  • You have effective time management skills and work efficiently to meet deadlines and goals.
  • You are constantly striving to enhance your skills and can accept and provide open feedback.
  • You have experience collaborating with diverse and cross-functional teams.
