JOB DESCRIPTION
WORKING HOURS: Full Time (hybrid with flexible in-person schedule)
The role requires a self-starter, who is able to work autonomously driving operational tasks within the treasury and accounting space and cross-functionally with other areas of the Finance and Legal team (FLT) in Brazil and the US. You will master concepts in accounting, tax and finance, and be able to effectively support our decision-making process and long term strategy. This is a high-level impact and stock option eligible position.
MAIN CROSS-FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIES:
- Treasury: Manage the full accounts payable and receivable cycles, including invoice processing, payment handling, vendor relations, and timely collections. Oversee financial transactions, supplier partnerships, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Controllership: Perform monthly and quarterly financial close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and collaboration with external accounting teams. Manage tax compliance and reporting requirements.
- Documentation and Processes: Maintain and update operational manuals, execute process improvement initiatives, and execute new workflows to optimize efficiency.
- Reporting and Analysis: Produce management reports, presentations, and analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Support Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Legal teams to facilitate internal information gathering, ensure compliance, and optimize processes.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduation in any STEM field, administration, economics, accounting, or related field
- A passion for finance, technology, games, movies, TV, art, animation, and electronics
- Fluent in English. Overseas experience is a plus
- Deep knowledge in financial statements: Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow, and their relationships
- Knowledge of Google Apps for Work, Slack, MS Office Suite
- Experience with financial closing processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and tax compliance
- Coding knowledge: Learning and applying this knowledge will be expected. VBA, JavaScript, or other coding languages applied to finance is a plus
