Job Description

As a Field Service Technician in Tesla's Energy and Charging Field Service team, you'll ensure optimal operation of renewable energy storage products and Superchargers. Daily responsibilities include traveling to various sites in Norway (and potentially abroad) to perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning activities. You'll troubleshoot issues, conduct root-cause analysis, act as the primary contact for contractors, collaborate with engineering teams to resolve recurring problems, and manage your own technical tasks. The role demands expertise in electrical engineering, specifically low- and medium-voltage systems (high-voltage experience is a plus).

Must have:

Experience as an electrical technician
Low/Medium voltage systems knowledge
Troubleshooting and repair skills
Excellent communication skills
Fluency in Norwegian and English
EU passport or work permit

Good to have:

High Voltage systems experience
Renewable energy passion

As a Field Service Technician in our Energy and Charging Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure both our Renewable Energy Storage products and our Superchargers are operating at their best. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will be travelling to sites and perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within Norway. What You’ll Do

Perform all on-site technical activities: related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Energy storage and Supercharging network in Oslo and abroad when needed
Troubleshoot: and perform root-cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
Stakeholder managment: Act as the first point of contact to contractors
Team work: recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
Organizational tasks: prepare, organize, and plan your own technical activities

What You’ll Bring

Experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field
Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems, High Voltage is a plus
A passion for renewable energy
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
Flexible towards travelling
Fluency in Norwegian and a good command of English
An EU passport or work permit is needed for this position
