Hiring in Los Angeles, CA (Relocation required)

Infinity Ward is looking for a dedicated Expert Animation Engineer with a strong interest in crafting high fidelity, scalable animation systems and behaviors. From sophisticated gunplay and locomotion to solidifying our characters in the environments they inhabit, the successful candidate will be ready to tackle the wide variety of engineering challenges vital to deliver believability and style across diverse situations and gamemodes.

  • Work with animators and other engineers to design, prototype, and implement new features to continuously improve our character fidelity and believability at ever increasing scale and complexity.

  • Develop and upgrade workflows to allow the efficient building, improvement and debugging of animation behaviors by animators and engineers alike.

  • Support and proactively collaborate with team members at Activision studios across the world.

Player Profile:
Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional programming experience with a focus on skeletal animation.

  • Proficiency in C/C++ in multithreaded environments

  • Strong 3D math and linear algebra.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience programming on multiple game consoles.

  • Experience with first-person shooters and multiplayer action games

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $121,500.00 - $224,880.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates, new hire compensation is negotiable.
