Intel seeks an Experienced Manufacturing Technician to contribute to its wafer production processes.   • Wafer Production: Perform functions associated with all aspects of wafer production, including operations, equipment handling, and process training.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and work on defect reduction.

  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, and verbal instructions to perform tasks.

  • Problem Solving: Apply problem-solving techniques and use various tools and test equipment to address production challenges.

Qualifications

Education:

National Framework Qualification (NFQ) Level 6/7 in a technical discipline.

  • 3+ years in technical/semiconductor/pharmaceutical/biomedical/medical device manufacturing.

  • 3+ years of hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance in a regulated environment.

  • 3+ years in electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair, and operation in a regulated environment.

Skills:

  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse team and multitask.

  • Capability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Skills to proactively drive operational / maintenance improvements.

Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on maintenance of semiconductor equipment.

  • Influencing the creation of new specifications, procedures, and business processes related to equipment maintenance.

  • Knowledge of process control systems.

  • Experience troubleshooting using schematics and complex diagrams.

  • Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing disciplines – High Precision Maintenance and Smart Place Work Organization.

  • Maintaining vacuum systems, precision mechanical equipment, or RF systems.

  • Willingness to travel for assignments as needed.

  • Ability to work on a monthly rotating shift pattern.
