We are looking for an ESG Data Analyst – Team Lead with experience in python, SaaS, and ESG/Sustainability. This specialized role is an outstanding opportunity to combine your technical skills and ESG knowledge to provide clients with leading ESG solutions for an internationally recognized brand. You will be responsible for providing leadership to the ESG Data Analyst Team, acting as an escalation point and internal liaison. We are open to candidates who are based in Montreal.

What You Will Do

- Player/coach role who maintains a portfolio of high-profile clients while providing leadership for the team

- Specific Workflows to support: API & SSO escalations, Product & SRE Liaison, leads process improvements like Code Library, standardizing client build architecture, etc.

- Act as a Subject Matter Expert and apply technical knowledge and industry experience in recommending newer technology practices management and operational knowledge to inspire and lead your team to operate effectively and deliver high quality results.

- Plan and implement procedures and systems to improve operating efficiency.

- Helps identify operational challenges and brainstorms potential solutions

- Motivates, develops and retains employees while rewarding and encouraging a culture of high performing teams

What We Expect

- At least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer

- Excellent management and analysis capabilities of large databases

- Experience in Python and knowledge of software engineering standard processes

- Good command of Excel

- Knowledge of GitHub processes

- Qualities of rigour, structure, and organization

- Spirit of initiative and passion for the opportunity to work as a team to innovate in an agile way, with a penchant for action and speed

- Have a master's degree or equivalent experience in software engineering, data analysis, environmental science, or related field

Bonuses:

- Interest in ESG, basic notions of environment and sustainable development

- Knowledge of Machine Learning

- Familiarity with the different Python libraries

- Familiarity with ClickUp project management software
