This is a role within Visa CEMEA’s Corporate Communications team, responsible for managing pan-regional communications for Value-Added Services (VAS), Risk, Technology, up-levelling client communications, and executing with excellence at Visa’s client events. The role will actively contribute to the overall CEMEA Communications function and agenda, and is based in Dubai working with Communications and business teams across the organization.
Key work outputs and responsibilities
Value-Added Services
Manage pan-regional communications for Visa’s Value-Added Services (VAS) growing business, by introducing and expanding visibility of VAS unique suite of capabilities and VAS leadership team.
Raise awareness, drive and amplify VAS impact, showcasing its vast offerings spanning the issuing, acceptance, risk and identity, and advisory services.
Ideate, create, and deliver narratives, messaging and theme-led thought leadership content
Leads on VAS executive visibility across Visa owned, earned and paid media, and external engagement platforms.
Serve as a first point of contact for VAS Comms, share best practices and experiences between VAS Global and CEMEA teams
Develops annual, quarterly, and monthly plans and status update reports to support key business priorities for VAS function across CEMEA markets.
Risk & Technology
Demonstrate Visa’s commitment to protecting and advancing the payment and commerce ecosystem through audience-centric trust and security storytelling.
Introduce proactive strategies, B2C campaigns and B2B and B2b content to evangelize Visa’s trust and security storytelling, enhance stakeholder engagement, build stakeholder trust, and get ahead of potential crises and issues.
Create narrative and messaging to advance Visa’s role in security and enhances RRO visibility, across Visa owned, earned and paid media, and external engagement platforms.
Lead the flagship CEMEA Security Summit and Risk Executive Council from agenda, content and speaker management perspective.
Develops annual, quarterly, and monthly plans and status update reports to support key business priorities for Risk function across the CEMEA markets.
Serves as a Comms business partner for Risk organization and first point of contact in the Risk and Technology Team
Client Communications and Events
Supports CEMEA client engagement strategy by developing and delivering client communications programs to drive business growth and position Visa as a partner of choice in CEMEA.
Delivers best-in-class client and partner experience to deepen stakeholders’ engagement.
Collaborates closely across all Visa Client facing functions to shape the agenda and content for Visa Client events, with a laser focus on client priorities and Visa’s offerings.
Manages or supports content and agenda development and all speaker related activities for pan CEMEA Client Events, including Visa Payment Forum, etc.
Collaborates with client facing teams, develops and distributes materials for client facing staff in CEMEA. Leads client-facing Newsletters.
Manages communication, design and productions agencies, ensuring effective delivery against plans and that plans are measurable.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
