Job Description

The Company 
AGS is a fun, exciting, and growing company focused on making amazing slot machine games. What is a slot machine game you ask? Well, it’s like an Xbox video game except people can win real money.

We’re looking for a DevQA Engineer to join our Macquarie Park studio and make sure our product quality continues to shine. If you are a self-motivated person who enjoys the complexities of working in a multi-discipline creative environment, then we love to meet you.
Responsibilities
  • Examine game requirements and design test scenarios for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Execute tests according to a test plan and perform regression of known issues to verify resolution in an Agile integration environment.
  • Execute manual ad-hoc scenarios, as well as system and regression.
  • Embed with developers to test every iteration of feature implementation.
  • Work closely with developers and provide feedback on how to reduce re-occurring issues. 
  • Assist developers with debugging and reproducing difficult edge cases and field issues.
  • Demonstrate complete ownership of a project from kickoff to handoff.
  • Protect the development process by providing a wide range of technical support
  • Consistently perform to high standards of accuracy, thoroughness and timelines.
  • Exhibit a positive manner toward the job and work well with customers and co-workers.
  • Self-accountable and accept consequences of his/her actions. Demonstrates unquestionable integrity in their daily duties.
 
Skills/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer, engineering, scientific, or related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in a quality or testing role; gaming industry experience preferred.
  • Hand-on experience of testing methodologies, bug tracking system, documenting test plans, test cases. 
  • Demonstrable skills in programming and scripting (C#, Unity, XML, Linux OS).
  • Previous exposure to software integration, automation, or quality assurance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Comfortable with multitasking and working with shifting requirements.
  • Positive communication skills and enthusiasm for collaboration and team-building.
  • Agile methodology experience, or passion, is a must.
