Exusia is looking for entry level Computer Science Engineering / Information Technology graduates to become part of our fast-expanding Analytics practice in South Africa as we ramp up our Engineering team to support our unique client requirement. The selected candidates will go through 6 weeks of extensive Industry Training and development program under Exusia’s Training Academy, which will enhance your skills on Data Engineering, Cloud Computing and Big Data Analytics. The Training program under this contract provides an opportunity to work and learn on the job from seasoned Data Engineering and Analytics practitioners who have executed 1000+ client engagements of Exusia, across the globe. On successful completion of the training and mentoring program conducted by Exusia Analytics Centre of Excellence, the candidates will be required to go through an internal assessment. The candidates who are successful at these assessments shall have the opportunity to extend their contract, and work for our client – which is one of the largest Bank in South Africa.

They will continue to receive mentoring by Exusia’s senior team members to enhance their technical skills and accelerate their path on attaining a long term contract at Exusia or Exusia’s client.

Desired Skills:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge in Data Structures & Algorithms
• Strong programming skills using at least one of the languages - Java, C, C++ or Python
•  Good understanding of Relational Database concepts and SQL / PL SQL
•  Basic knowledge of UNIX or Linux Operating systems and knowledge of shell scripting.
• Basic understanding of Data warehousing and Data Engineering concepts is nice to have
•  Understanding of Azure Cloud Platform is nice to have
• Exposure to Cloud Data Warehouses such as Azure Synapse or Snowflake is nice to have.

• Location: Candidates should ideally be from Johannesburg/Sandton or should be willing to relocate if selected.
