As a Cricket Systems Operator, you will be responsible for delivering our world-renowned ball-tracking, edge-detection, and Match Officials' communications technologies, as well as providing other officiating and broadcast-enhancing technologies at cricket events around the world. This role provides a genuine opportunity to create a direct impact on the biggest occasions and moments in cricket; this could be providing an LBW call during a Test match at Narendra Modi Stadium; or telling the story of the decisive bowling spell during the Cricket World Cup Final.

Up to this point, I’m sure there have been many things that you find intriguing about the role, however, there can be difficult times:
Working Hours: Due to the nature of the sports industry, there is often work on weekends and midweek evenings and we are expected to fulfil our roles until the last ball has been hit.
Travelling Abroad: You can expect to spend on average up to 250 days per year on tour away from home. Whilst there are glamorous locations where major tournaments are held, there are also
Working & Living in Different Timezones: This role is tour-based which means you will be spending time away from family and friends where social events could be missed. Also, working in different time zones can make communication more challenging.
High-Pressure Situations: Working in a live broadcast environment on a production that is distributed to millions worldwide will bring high levels of pressure.
All of these factors offer different challenges daily as an operator. We will do all that we can to train you and support you to the best possible level but these challenges must be considered before submitting your application.
