Construct 3 Game Developer and Designer

UMAGAN Private Limited is seeking a creative and highly skilled Construct 3 Game Developer and Designer to join our dynamic team in Howrah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of 2D games using Construct 3. You will work closely with our game design team to create engaging, high-quality games for various platforms.

• Game Development: Develop 2D games using Construct 3, ensuring smooth performance across multiple platforms.
• Game Design: Conceptualize and create engaging and visually appealing game levels, assets, and mechanics.
• Asset Integration: Collaborate with artists and designers to integrate assets such as characters, environments, and UI into the game.
• Prototyping: Develop game prototypes to test mechanics, features, and design ideas.
• Optimization: Ensure that all games are optimized for performance, especially for mobile platforms.
• Bug Fixing: Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other technical challenges.
• Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, artists, and other developers to bring creative concepts to life.
• Testing and Debugging: Thoroughly test games to ensure quality and user-friendly gameplay experience.
• Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest trends and best practices in game development and design.

• Proficiency in Construct 3 and strong experience in 2D game development.
• Strong understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and level design.
• Ability to create and integrate game assets (sprites, animations, sound, etc.).
• Familiarity with HTML5, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
• Experience in debugging and optimizing games for performance.
• UI/UX design skills for game interfaces.
• Knowledge of game monetization strategies, in-app purchases, and advertisements is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 1-3 years of experience in game development, preferably with Construct 3.
• Portfolio showcasing your previous work in game development and design.
