Job Description

 

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) Narrative Designer principal(e) pour rejoindre notre équipe. Dans ce rÎle, vous serez responsable de la création et de l'intégration fluide des éléments narratifs dans nos jeux vidéo. En collaboration étroite avec les équipes de développement, de conception et d'art, vous vous assurerez que les intrigues et les dialogues enrichissent l'expérience de jeu et s'harmonisent parfaitement avec les mécaniques de la jouabilité.

Ce que vous allez faire

  • Concevoir et mettre en Ɠuvre des structures de quĂȘtes, des dialogues, des doublages et autres Ă©lĂ©ments narratifs Ă  l'aide d'outils moteur de jeu
  • Collaborer avec les scĂ©naristes et les level designers pour crĂ©er un rĂ©cit interactif, cohĂ©rent et mĂ©morable
  • GĂ©rer la production et le pipeline logiciel afin de respecter les dĂ©lais.
  • Coordonner avec les diffĂ©rents dĂ©partements pour intĂ©grer harmonieusement l'histoire Ă  la jouabilitĂ©
  • DĂ©velopper des Ă©crits complĂ©mentaires pour divers Ă©lĂ©ments du jeu, en accord avec la vision du projet
  • CrĂ©er et maintenir la documentation nĂ©cessaire pour le contenu narratif du jeu
  • Assumer la responsabilitĂ© d'une classe de fonctionnalitĂ©s narratives du jeu de la phase conceptuelle Ă  l'implĂ©mentation

We are looking for a Principal Narrative Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and seamlessly integrating narrative elements into our video games. Working closely with development, design, and art teams, you will ensure that storylines and dialogues enhance the gaming experience and align harmoniously with gameplay mechanics.

What you’ll be doing

  • Design and implement quest structures, dialogues, voice-overs, and other narrative elements using game engine tools
  • Collaborate with writers and level designers to craft a cohesive, interactive, and memorable narrative
  • Manage the production and software pipeline to meet deadlines
  • Coordinate across departments to seamlessly integrate story with gameplay
  • Develop supplementary writing for various game elements, aligning with the project vision
  • Create and maintain documentation necessary for the game's narrative content
  • Take ownership of narrative features from conceptual phase through to implementation

Qualifications

  • Excellentes compĂ©tences en relecture et en correction de texte
  • MaĂźtrise du scripting de jeu avec Unreal Engine Blueprints
  • Grande capacitĂ© d'organisation, motivation personnelle, aptitude Ă  gĂ©rer de maniĂšre autonome des tĂąches complexes
  • CapacitĂ© Ă  traduire efficacement les concepts et visions en contenu narratif captivant

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a narrative, quest, or level designer
  • Proven track record with at least one shipped AAA game title
  • Extensive experience with narrative pipelines including voice-over, cinematics, and audio
  • Thorough understanding of creative and game development processes, workflows, and dependencies
  • Strong grasp of story structure, narrative tools, and their practical application
  • Excellent proofreading and copyediting skills
  • Proficiency in-game scripting using Unreal Engine Blueprints
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, capable of independently managing complex tasks
  • Ability to effectively translate concepts and visions into compelling narrative content
