Job Summary

Job Description

Activision is seeking a skilled Concept Artist to create original artwork for games and marketing materials. Responsibilities include designing concept art for levels, characters, weapons, and props; collaborating closely with 3D artists to ensure design fidelity; working with the lead artist to establish artistic direction; and potentially guiding other artists. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in the gaming or film industry, is proficient in Photoshop and other relevant software, demonstrates strong traditional art skills, and has a firm grasp of design principles and art styles. Additional responsibilities may include creating simple 3D models using software like SketchUp or Maya, producing high-resolution marketing assets, and understanding of various structural designs (architectural, mechanical, biological).

Must have:

Extensive game/film experience
Photoshop proficiency
Strong art skills & design understanding
Collaboration with 3D team
High-resolution asset creation

Good to have:

3D software skills (SketchUp, Maya)
Experience guiding other artists
Understanding of architecture, mechanics, anatomy

• 为游戏以及市场设计和创作原画以及任何2D的产品

• 为关卡，角色以及武器和道具创作原画，以及提供3D美术团队日常工作所需要的额外原画草图以及参考资料等

• 可以基于现有的产品资源进行重制设计

• 和3D团队紧密合作，确保原画的设计理念和元素能够在3D制作中被准确还原出来

• 与主美术紧密合作，确立美术指导方向以及与美术设计与概念设计的融合

任职要求：

• 须具有丰富的游戏或影视行业相关工作经历

• 精通Photoshop

• 熟练应用中，英文

• 对美术风格以及设计理念有良好的把握

• 能够指导其他原画或者UI美术师成功完成高质量的概念设计

• 有很好的传统美术功底以及相关专业背景，能够很好的表现对产品结构的表现能力以及合理性

• 能够调整并完善原画或者2D图像最终效果，以适应产品需要

• 能够运用3D相关软件，如sketch up, Maya等创作简单的3D模型以提升原画绘制效率

• 能够制作市场所需高清素材

• 对建筑结构,机械结构,生物解剖结构以及其合理性设计有很好的理解

• 能够根据时间进度完成任务

• 能够高速且有组织地完成研究及参考材料收集

• 能够听取团队的反馈以及建议，也能够为团队提供有效的设计创意

• 对最好的效果及结果有充分热情，并能够为了最佳的结果努力

• 喜欢学习新的工具，包括游戏工具等
