Project description

Founded in 1984, our Client is the world's leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines that are critical to the production of integrated circuits or chips. The client has its R&D and manufacturing operations in The Netherlands. Luxoft is currently searching to augment the Development & Engineering Department with a talented software engineer to design and implement software for systems among the highest precision ever produced in the world.

The proposed project is in the high technology domain of Integrated Circuits Lithography.
Project scope is the development and maintenance of various Linux infrastructure tooling supporting the lithography application software. The local teams total over 30 engineers.
The technologies required by this position are: Python, templating in ansible playbooks, network services on Linux, Bash, Jenkins, CCNA 1-2.
Occasional travel to the Netherlands is possible as well.

Responsibilities

Participation in the design and development of different software tools

Development and maintenance of software tools

Development of unit-tests, participation in the code review process

Documentation of designed software

Test cases creation and execution for validating the developed tools

Close interaction with all team members and customer representatives

Skills

Must have

Python

min 3 years working experience

Linux (Bash, Shell)

at least 2+ years of working experience

Knowledge of industry standard software quality processes

Technical University Degree

Minimum 2 years of work experience in a relevant position

Nice to have

Agile methodology

Ansible

Git/SVN

Other
