Job Description

🚀 The Job Mission

As a Business Resource Manager, you will ensure that our projects are fully resourced with suitably qualified and experienced people for current and future workloads. Your key responsibilities will include:

⚡️ Capturing project requirements and mapping the deployment of resources using company software
⚡️ Identifying available resources to maximize chargeable utilization and manage to budget
⚡️ Organizing project transitions with internal stakeholders and customers
⚡️ Involvement in the recruitment process, including selection and interviews to support business growth
⚡️ Creating and managing plans detailing non-chargeable activities and associated time in conjunction with budget holders
⚡️ Forecasting resource utilization, non-chargeable time, and available resources
⚡️ Working with Heads of Discipline to identify the best candidates for projects and bids
⚡️ Ensuring training plans are in place and managed in line with budget in collaboration with Learning and Development lead
⚡️ Ensuring chargeable candidates are financially and logistically suitable
⚡️ Completing new starter inductions and mobilizing resources onto projects
⚡️ Liaising with customers to identify resource demands
⚡️ Creating role specifications
⚡️ Coordinating with the recruitment team to ensure a great introduction to the business for new starters
⚡️ Serving as the point of contact and coordination for contract resources
⚡️ Maintaining supporting documentation such as headcount reports, organization charts, and contact lists
⚡️ Forecasting and performance reporting
⚡️ Creating the department plan for the year
⚡️ Liaising with other departments for resource availability and requirements
⚡️ Representing Assystem within frameworks
⚡️ Setting out financial terms for new recruits

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications

🛠 Minimum of UK qualification level 4 or level 3 with substantial relevant experience
🛠 Working towards professional affiliation with a relevant institution such as CMI, CIPD, or IOM
🛠 Tangible relevant experience in resource management, resource planning, and recruitment & selection

Additional Information

The successful candidate will have been operating within a resource management function having tangible relevant experience and responsibility for resource planning, recruitment & selection.

This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of BPSS
