Job Summary
Job Description
As a Backend Developer at Nisum, you will be responsible for developing code using the latest Java, Spring, and NoSQL technologies. You will also solve technical problems using cutting-edge technologies and best practices. You will be required to propose different ways to solve the same problem and showcase why one solution is better. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the technical design are correctly incorporated. In addition, you will contribute technical expertise to all projects as required. You will also be required to contribute research and implement POCs. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of Java/J2EE development experience, experience with Java-microservices, Pivotal Cloud Foundry or Azure, SOA, Rest Services and Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, NoSQL DB(Cassandra/Maria/Mongo/Cosmos), and GIT, SVN, or other distributed version control systems.
Must have:
- 8+ years of Java/J2EE development experience
- Java-microservices – Java 8, Spring Boot, some messaging background preferably Kafka
- Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry or Azure.
- Proficient experience with SOA, Rest Services and Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot
- Experience with NoSQL DB(Cassandra/Maria/Mongo/Cosmos)
- Experienced in GIT, SVN, or other distributed version control system
- Deep understanding of and experience in Java, design concepts, patterns, and coding standards
- Independent thinker who can identify problems and provide creative solutions
- Good communicator and team player

What You Know
- 8+ years of Java/J2EE development experience
- Java-microservices – Java 8, Spring Boot, some messaging background preferably Kafka
