AWS Cloud Engineer with 3+ years experience building platform tools & services for deploying and running applications on AWS. Must have expertise in IAM, Network, EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Terraform, Packer, Ansible, scripting languages, and security.

What You'll Do

Build platform tools & services to enable product engineering teams to deploy and run their applications (data pipelines, analytical applications, micro services etc) on cloud.
And often times involves routine grunt work on service requests to assist other team with platform infrastructure.

What You Know

A minimum of 3+ years of solid working experience with AWS Infrastructure services with emphasis on IAM, Network, EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail and in general overall Security.
Strong knowledge and implementation history of Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Chef, Jenkins or any other similar tooling.
Experience on at least one scripting language - Shell, Python etc.

Nice to have skills:

Experience with other public cloud platforms like Azure and GCP is a bonus.
Knowledge and working experience in implementing one or more Observability platforms like
Prometheus, InfluxDB, Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk etc. to measure telemetry data like logs, metrics and traces.
Solid professional coding experience in at least one programming language, preferably Java.
Experience with BigData platforms, like AWS EMR, Databricks, Cloudera, Hortonworks etc.
Experience with open source technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Presto, Spark, Airflow etc.
