As an intern at Guerrilla, you will immerse yourself in the world of game development. From collaborating with industry leaders to working on cutting-edge projects, you'll gain hands-on experience in various aspects of game creation.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL ASSET ART TEAM

Within the Environment Assert Art team we are responsible for creating the final quality environmental art assets that we use in our games. We work closely with our Concept and Environment Art teams to develop 3D art asset designs that we evaluate, plan, and produce using existing or novel workflows.

WHO YOU ARE

In order to qualify for an internship at Guerrilla, you must be:

Currently enrolled in a Dutch University within a relevant field of study
Able to work on-site in our Amsterdam studio
Available for an Internship during the first half of 2025

Additionally, we'd love to hear from you if you:

Have a passion for asset art and a portfolio that reflects this
Like to problem solve and have a knack for both technical and aesthetic challenges
Are meticulous and have an eye for details and quality
Are experienced with stylized art
Are passionate about learning and growing as an artist

As one of Europe's leading game development studios, Guerrilla has continually pushed the boundaries of technical and artistic excellence since its inception in 2003. Today, the studio employs 400 professionals from 25 different nationalities. Guerrilla was founded as the result of a merger between three smaller Dutch studios: Lost Boys Games, Orange Games and Digital Infinity. In 2005, it was acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment after the release of Killzone on PlayStation 2. In the decade that followed, Guerrilla expanded Killzone into a successful franchise with a handheld spin-off and three sequels.

Guerrilla's next title, released for PlayStation 4 in 2017 and for PC in 2020, is the critically and popularly acclaimed open world action-RPG Horizon Zero Dawn. The studio released its sequel Horizon Forbidden West in February 2022, with the Burning Shores expansion in 2023. This year, Guerrilla also released the PSVR2 title, Horizon Call of the Mountain.
