Art Director – Events/Conferences (contract)

Our client, who is a multinational professional consulting services company, is in need of an Art Director - Events/Conferences (contract) to join their Creative Team for an upcoming annual event.  

• This is a 6+ month contract with the opportunity to extend.
• 100% remote for the client based on the East Coast. 
• Able to travel to onsite event in November 2024.

As an Event Art Director you’ll: 

• Conceptualize and execute innovative experience for the client's large corporate event.
• Work alongside internal clients and teams to design conceptual storytelling methods and influence the development of creative briefs, storyboards and layouts. 
• Lean on your experience in Experiential Design to lead and guide a team of Designers, Video Editors and Producers to design a multi-million dollar event.

Skills & Experience Needed:  

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Digital portfolio demonstrating outstanding conceptual thinking and design skills
• 8+ years of related art direction and design experience in Corporate Event Design or Experiential Design.
• Deep experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Flash, Dreamweaver, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Advanced knowledge for troubleshooting technical issues in graphic files for prepress and printing: packaging linked graphics and necessary fonts and creating color separations.
• Experience working and mentoring in a virtual environment.
