Tesla seeks an Account Manager for B2B sales of residential and small commercial energy products (Powerwall) in France. The position offers flexibility with work location anywhere in central France.

What to Expect

Tesla recherche un(e) Responsable de comptes (H/F) pour gérer les ventes de solutions énergétiques résidentielle en France. Votre principale mission sera la vente B2B des produits Tesla énergétiques résidentiels et commerciaux de petite taille en France. Vous développerez, maintiendrez et ferez grandir un réseau de clients, notamment des installateurs de panneaux solaires. Vous serez également chargé d'identifier et de développer des opportunités commerciales dans votre région.

 

Ce poste nécessite une bonne connaissance des produits et du marché du stockage d'énergie, ainsi que d'excellentes compétences en communication interpersonnelle. Notre équipe est collaborative, passionnée, créative, et partage l'ambition de repousser les limites dans un marché en constante évolution.

Tesla is seeking an Account Manager for residential energy sales in France. Your core responsibility is B2B sales of Tesla residential and small commercial energy products in France. You will develop, maintain and grow a productive network of customers such as  3rd party PV installers. In addition, you will actively drive business development opportunities in your region. 

 

This is a multi-faceted role where you are expected to have knowledge of the product and market for energy storage, along with great interpersonal communication. Our team is highly collaborative, creative, passionate and have a shared desire to break new ground in a constantly shifting technology and market landscape.

 

  • Work location: flexible, any central location in France

What You’ll Do
  • Contribuer à une croissance ambitieuse des ventes de Powerwall sur les marchés ciblés en France
  • Développer et entretenir les clients partenaires (installateurs de panneaux solaires)
  • Identifier des opportunités pour réduire les écarts avec les objectifs ou augmenter les ventes sur les marchés ciblés
  • Contribuer au développement de supports marketing/ventes pour favoriser le succès des comptes partenaires
  • Identifier de nouveaux partenaires et finaliser des contrats de vente
  • Assurer la bonne gestion financière des partenaires pour garantir leur croissance
  • Établir et maintenir des relations solides au sein des partenaires et communiquer la vision des produits Tesla
  • Anticiper les besoins des partenaires en termes de produits ou d'offres
  • Fournir des retours sur les produits aux équipes techniques pour améliorer leurs conceptions et les offres
  • Évaluer de nouvelles opportunités commerciales et en assurer le suivi
  • Fournir des perspectives sur le marché à l’équipe commerciale
  • Apporter des prévisions de ventes précises aux équipes opérationnelles et de production, y compris des prévisions basées sur la performance de chaque compte clé par rapport aux objectifs
  • Contribuer à l’évaluation des dynamiques du marché dans différents secteurs (énergie, commercial & industriel, résidentiel, etc.) et des facteurs clés (réglementations, économie, etc.)
  • Représenter Tesla lors d’événements de vente et de marketing pour promouvoir les produits
  • Identifier et mettre en œuvre des initiatives visant à améliorer la formation des partenaires, la qualité des installations, et les processus Tesla
  • Remonter les retours utilisateurs aux équipes de développement IT et aux opérations pour améliorer les outils, systèmes et processus Tesla

  • Achieve ambitious growth plans for Powerwall sales within assigned channel(s) in France
  • Develop and maintain highly productive partner accounts ((PV) installers)
  • Proactively identify opportunities to close gap to target and/or grow volume sales within assigned channel
  • Provide input on the development of dedicated marketing/sales material needed for accounts success
  • Identify new partners and close sales contracts
  • Ensure accounts’ finances are in order and support partner growth
  • Build and maintain relationships across the organization of partner accounts; convey Tesla product and feature roadmap
  • Anticipate product or offering needs from partner accounts
  • Provide product feedback to technical team regarding fit and applicability of product design and offering
  • Evaluate new business opportunities with current and new accounts and/or sales channels, identify suitable product offerings, and take ownership of capturing these opportunities
  • Provide key market insights into broader business team
  • Provide high fidelity sales forecasts to business and manufacturing teams, including an up to date bottoms up forecast of individual account performance versus forecast for key accounts
  • Support evaluating market dynamics across sectors (utility, commercial & industrial, residential, etc.) and drivers (policy/regulatory, economics, etc.) 
  • Represent Tesla at sales and marketing events promoting Powerwall products
  • Help identify and support implementation of initiatives to maintain or improve partner training, partner installation quality, and to improve Tesla operations and fulfilment and Tesla support
  • Provide user / customer feedback to IT development teams regarding Tesla tools, systems and to Operations regarding processes
What You’ll Bring
  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience en vente B2B ou développement commercial
  • Solide compréhension du marché du solaire/stockage de batteries (résidentiel et petite entreprise) et des réseaux/utilités
  • Capacité à prioriser et gérer plusieurs projets en parallèle
  • Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais

  • 5+ years’ experience in B2B Sales/Business Development
  • In-depth understanding of solar PV/battery storage (residential and small commercial) and grid/utility markets
  • Ability to prioritize work and execute several projects and tasks in parallel
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Valid Driver’s license with a good track record in terms of driving safely and responsibly
