Job Description

Room 8 Studio is hiring a Middle 2D Animator with 2+ years of experience in game animation. Responsibilities include creating 2D animations for characters, environments, and props; rigging and skinning characters; preparing artwork for animation; creating art documentation; and collaborating effectively with artists and project managers. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Spine, Flash, and After Effects is required, along with a strong understanding of the 12 principles of animation. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Unity and possess excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. The role demands a responsible approach to work, strong organizational skills, and effective communication in a dynamic team setting.

Must have:

Superpowers
you have are

2+ years of experience in animation;
A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating high-quality animations;
Knowledge of Adobe graphics packages (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator);
Experience working with Spine, Flash and After Effects;
Strong understanding of the 12 principles of animation and the ability to apply them effectively in work;
A responsible approach to work;
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively;
Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset to work in dynamic, creative environments;
Intermediate+ English level (written and spoken) for seamless collaboration and documentation.
