2D Animator

2D ARTIST JOB DESCRIPTION

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Concept Development:

• Must have strong knowledge on developing initial sketches and concepts to outline the visual direction.
• Coordinating with Directors, Content Writers, Editors, and Clients to understand project requirements and objectives.

2. Creating Illustrations:

• Must have expertise in rendering 2D illustrations, digitally hand-drawn and/or AI.
• Must have expertise in software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate or any software of your preference to create and refine artwork.

3. Coloring and Texturing:

• Must have strong knowledge on color pallets, color theory, textures, and shading to enhance the visual appeal of illustrations.
• Ensure consistency in style and color schemes across different illustrations.

4. Designing Characters and Scenes:

• Must have strong knowledge on creating detailed character designs, backgrounds, and other visual elements.
• Must be expertise in developing storyboards and visual narratives to guide the illustration process.

5. Revisions and Feedback:

• Review and make adjustments based on feedback from clients and team members.
• Ensure all illustrations meet quality standards and are delivered within deadlines.
• Work closely with other artists, designers, and animators to integrate illustrations into larger projects.

7. Staying Updated with Trends:

• Keep up with the latest trends and techniques in illustration and design.
• Experiment with new styles and approaches to enhance creativity.

• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Photoshop
• Corel Draw

MORE IMPORTANTLY

• Strictly follow the production procedure that will be oriented at the office after your joining.
• Communicate with the production team to ensure that all elements of the project are delivered on time.
• Meet project deadlines and ensure that all the illustrations are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
