Summary

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects related to technical infrastructure and data analytics. Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years program/project management experience
  • Data analysis, analytics, SQL, PL/SQL experience
  • Data management and acquisition expertise
  • Excellent communication skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with databases and SQL queries
  • Scripting/programming skills (Python, R)
  • Cross-functional team collaboration
  • Knowledge of measurement, statistics, program evaluation

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or technical project management.
  • Experience with Data Analysis, Data Analytics, PL/SQL, SQL, Data Management, and Data Acquisition.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with databases, SQL database queries/analysis, and in other scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python).
  • Experience in programming and coding including R, Python, and SQL.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment with a focus on knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills to clearly communicate technical concepts with multiple cross-regional and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Interest in data, metrics, analysis, and trends, with knowledge of measurement, statistics, and program evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Extract, transform, and build data structures, dashboards, and reports to support business operations, perform queries, and analyses to prototype and derive insights that help improve decision-making.
  • Conduct analysis that includes data discovery, data readiness assessments, technical requirements development, and clarification with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Translate different types of business, operational or regulatory data requirements into data insights, deliver reports, blogs, decks, dashboards, and more for communication and reporting.
  • Work with diverse tables/data sources and tools across Google, build knowledge on centralizing information in a consistent and qualitative manner.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reliable metrics and dashboards.
