Job Description

As a Technical Program Manager II at Google Cloud, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects related to Enterprise Finance solutions. You'll work cross-functionally with a global team to implement and deploy these solutions, improving systems and processes for data integrity and user experience. Responsibilities include project planning and delivery, communication planning (including executive-level communication), establishing operational measurement frameworks, and developing long-term strategies. The role requires strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams and a deep understanding of project methodologies. Experience with cloud computing, enterprise finance solutions, and FinOps/Cloud-Cost-Management is highly valued.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years program management experience
  • Experience with cloud computing and enterprise finance solutions
  • Cross-functional project management
  • Excellent communication skills
Good to have:
  • 5+ years program management experience in cloud computing
  • Experience managing cross-functional/cross-team projects
  • Knowledge of FinOps/Cloud-Cost-Management
  • Experience in a distributed, highly integrated team

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience working with cloud computing emerging technologies, enterprise finance solutions, or related technical fields.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in program management of cloud computing emerging technologies or related technical fields.
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience working across a distributed, and highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
  • Knowledge of FinOps/Cloud-Cost-Management.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with a global geographically distributed team to understand, implement and deploy Enterprise Finance solutions.
  • Drive best practice improvements for both system and process to achieve data integrity, data transparency and delightful user experience.
  • Support the team with all required elements of project planning and delivery, using your knowledge of project methodologies including tools and techniques.
  • Design and deliver optimized program communication plans including executive and key stakeholder communications.
  • Establish an operations measurement framework also develop and execute a long term strategy.
