Job Title: Talent Manager

Reports To:  Director of Talent


Overview

As an AMG Talent Manager you are the connection between the talent that AMG represents and the AMG sales team. You will be responsible for the communication that takes place with AMG talent regarding their deals, as well as assisting them with any other needs that may arise.   Talent Coordinators are also responsible for tasks related to recruiting new talent, assisting with production campaigns and keeping statistical data up to date.


Job Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities of the position are to be performed with regular exercise of discretion and independent judgment pursuant to AMG management policies and business operation guidelines. Your main focus areas will be Managing Existing Talent, Recruiting New Talent and Assisting Other Departments as needed.  The following list outlines, in general, your job duties. 


  • Maintaining the relationships of existing AMG Talent
    • Be readily available to respond to AMG Talent inquiries in a timely manner.
    • Communicate to AMG Talent in a concise and professional manner at all times.
    • Manage inbound deals from the AMG Sales Department.  Communicate the details to talent, provide a brief and/or contract upon agreement of terms, and facilitate the on-time completion of those terms.
    • Have a specific knowledge of the deals they prefer as well as their goals for future growth.
    • Maintain general knowledge of AMG Talent’s current status on all platforms used.  Check their platforms daily and track any pertinent information.
    • Update platform statistics twice monthly, look for rapid growth or declines.
    • Look for opportunities with incoming deals to upsell additional AMG Talent; communicate those recommendations to the sales team.
    • Report to your direct supervisor regularly to update them regarding current talent status. Including but not limited to: rapid growth, client relations and areas of concern.
    • Be proactive in identifying up and coming games, channels, apps etc. that the talent may express future interest in.
    • Maintain the talent pipeline by checking Hubspot daily, make any status changes or notate any important updates.
    • Talent calls: As frequently as needed to maintain good communication.


  • AMG Talent Recruitment
    • Identify unrepresented prospective candidates and present them to the Talent Team
    • Research prospective talent’s channels/platforms and identify areas where AMG can provide value by leveraging current client relationships to generate additional deals.
    • Set up a plan to reach out and track your progress.
  • Coordinate with executive management on lead generation when necessary.  
  • Work cohesively with the AMG Sales and Finance Departments
  • Utilize a consistent process to keep all daily tasks organized.
  • Communicate in a timely and efficient manner with all AMG team members.
  • Other duties as assigned by the AMG Executive Team or direct supervisor.
