Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering MTS in Seattle, WA:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Develop and implement automated solutions to optimize network operations and cloud infrastructure performance. Design and deploy network automation scripts and tools to streamline configuration management, provisioning, and troubleshooting processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and integrate automation into existing systems. Maintain and extend the capabilities of our network automation platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Provide technical expertise and support for cloud infrastructure projects, including architecture design, deployment, and optimization. Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to address network and infrastructure issues and ensure system availability. Conduct regular performance monitoring and tuning of network and cloud infrastructure components to optimize resource utilization and reliability. Document network and infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices to ensure knowledge transfer and operational consistency. Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in network automation and cloud infrastructure to drive continuous improvement.*Above address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python; (2)  AWS; (3) Linux; (4) Networking; (5) TCP/IP; (6) Subnetting; (7) BGP; (8) OSPF; (9) TCP/IP; (10) DNS; (11) DHCP; (12) VLAN; (13) Terraform; (14) Kubernetes, Docker, or CI/CD. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $137,259.00 - $172,800.00 per annum.
