Position Overview

Our COO Technology group is looking for an experienced Enterprise Systems Architect, who is passionate about technology and wants to solve real-world complex problems in the area of business technology. Our group provides technology solutions for Autodesk's GTM business models. You will have experience designing and architecting ERP solutions for the Finance domain. Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA is required. This is an individual contributor role and will report to a Director.

Preference for candidates in San Francisco, California with flexible hybrid/remote work from our San Francisco offices. Open to candidates remote on the West Coast/PT zone.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership within the Organization by creating and reviewing high-quality architecture designs and technical solutions
  • Lead design, and support technical implementations of features in the area of Finance Systems domain - including for Order-to-Cash, Revenue Accounting, Procure-to-Pay, General Ledger, Tax and Treasury, and their integrations with other systems
  • You'll partner with our business stakeholders and product managers to assess requirements; collaborate with engineers and fellow architects to lead technical solution that meets requirements
  • Produce high-quality architecture design, collaborate across multiple teams the impact of the design and resolve any conflicts with other teams. Update the design and coordinate the changes to impacted teams/individuals
  • You'll need to work on multiple projects without affecting quality of the deliverables
  • Take part in COO technical architect forum to drive forward technical design by representing area of your technical ownership
  • Ensure the solution implementations achieve the desired non-functional attributes such as performance, optimization, scalability, security and resiliency
  • Work towards making technical solution better by keeping in mind future our needs
  • Work and partner with globally distributed teams
  • Contribute to and foster Autodesk cultural values

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA
  • 7+ years of experience implementing order management, billing/invoicing, accounts receivable, sales taxes in SAP
  • Work with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficient in Agile methodology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in software or high-tech or telecom industry
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and eCommerce platforms
  • 2+ years implementing revenue recognition systems such as RAR or Revpro
  • 3+ years implementing vendor management, purchaser orders, vendor invoices and accounts payables in SAP
  • Experience working with middleware technology such as AWS, SAP CPI/BTP, etc.
  • Knowledge of software automation tools

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $159,100 and $257,400. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
